WordPress accessibility fixes
WordPress runs a large share of business and government websites, and most of its accessibility problems come from content and themes rather than WordPress itself.
How we fix WordPress sites
Our WordPress plugin applies the fixes from inside your site. It writes alt text into the media library and into the pages that already use each image, adds names to icon links and form fields in your content, and handles theme-level fixes as pages are displayed. It needs no password from you and no API access through your firewall, and every run can be rolled back from the plugin screen.
Problems we often find on WordPress
- Images uploaded without alt text. The block editor copies alt text into each page when the image is inserted, so fixing the media library alone leaves published pages unchanged.
- Page builders that render clickable divs instead of real buttons and links.
- Themes that remove the focus outline from links and buttons.
- Icon-only search, menu and social links in the header.
