From scan to verified fix
Five steps, and you approve the work before anything reaches your live site.
Free scan
We load up to 50 of your pages in a real browser, picked across your page types so a sample of 50 is not 50 blog posts. Each page is checked against WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 Level A and AA rules. On key pages we also press Tab through the page like a keyboard user and shrink it to a 320 pixel screen.
The scan also tells us what your site is built on and whether an overlay widget is already installed.
A fixed price
Findings are grouped into fixes. A fix is one problem in one component, so the same broken product card on 300 pages is one fix. The price comes from the number of fixes and your platform.
Fixes on a staging copy
Our tools draft the changes and a specialist reviews each one. Then they go into a copy of your site: a branch and pull request for custom code, a duplicate theme on Shopify, our plugin on WordPress. Anything a tool cannot change, a specialist changes by hand.
Re-testing
We scan the staging copy again. Each fix is marked verified or still failing, and we check that the changes did not create new problems somewhere else.
A record and upkeep
You get a record for each WCAG criterion and an accessibility statement for your site. On a care plan, we rescan every week and fix new problems as content changes.
What we need from you
- Access that fits your platform: a WordPress admin, a Shopify collaborator account, or your Git repository.
- A staging or preview address, if you have one.
- An allowlist rule for our scanner if your site sits behind a firewall.
What we will not do
We will not promise that your site is compliant. A scan cannot establish that, and the FTC ordered one company to pay $1 million after alleging its claims that its tool did were unsupported. We also will not hide fixes inside a script on your site. On closed builders, where a small script is sometimes the only option, we list every fix that depends on it.
